Venice weekend breaks

Short stay Venice holidays produce visions of gondolas and Italian ice cream but there is so much more the city has to offer on weekend breaks. Some of the must see city sights on weekend breaks in Venice are St Mark's Square and Basilica, the Rialto Bridge, Doge's Palace and Bridge of Sighs. To see the Venice panorama take a trip up the Campanile Bell Tower and admire the city from above. Venice flights land at Venice Marco Polo Airport which has a regular bus service to Piazzale Roma in the city (approx 20 minute journey) and also a waterbus connection (hourly - you have a half mile walk to the dock). Ryanair flies into Treviso airport where buses run into Treviso (approx 15mins) and Venice (approx 1hr 10mins).
