Belfast weekend breaks
A change from traditional city breaks, a long weekend in Belfast can be thought provoking but quirky as only an Irish city can be. Modern art (and they are truly artistic) in the form of the political murals, best seen from a short trip in the traditional Belfast black cabs. Climb the hill to Belfast Castle for stunning views of the city and beyond to Belfast Lough. Enjoy the
Mount Stewart gardens or pop out of the city to visit the Giant’s Causeway, now a world heritage site. Compare the historic architecture of the Grand Opera House to the modern Waterfront Hall to see the changes in the city but most of all enjoy your holiday weekend breaks because of the Belfast people, they will welcome you back again and again.
Belfast flights arrive at Belfast International Airport, buses leave for the city center every 10 minutes with a journey time of 30 to 40 minutes. Cheap budget priced airlines fly into Belfast City Airport which has bus connections into the city leaving every 20 minutes or so.
